Garry Jones:
With over 30 years
experience as a professional Artist and Designer specialising in Carnival and Community Arts, working internationally, nationally
& regionally.
Founded “Off Our Trolley” Arts, in 2003.
In the design and delivery of carnival & community art projects my
roles have included artistic director, project designer, event coordinator, project
manager, workshop facilitator, marketing, performer & artist.
Various skills include the visual arts, push along 3D carnival
floats, costume, head dresses, carnival back packs, installations & performance.
Garry enjoys working with all communities and seeing the difference Art can make to their lives.
The joy it can
bring, empowering, increasing their confidence, raising self esteem & learning new skills.
He works with people of all ages
and abilities ranging from young people with social and behavioural problems to people with learning disabilities and adults
with mobility and motor co-ordination difficulties.
